Pan - Palazzo delle Arti Naples - Contemporary Art Museum

The Palazzo Carafa of Roccella, renovated in the eighteenth century, is the official seat of the Pan, Palazzo delle Arti Naples. Established in 2005 with the exhibition "The Giving Person. The gift of the artist" edited by artistic director Lorand Hegyi, is absolutely innovative in the cultural scene of the city.

Powered and implemented by the Department of Culture of the City of Naples in collaboration with the Campania Region and the Province of Naples, occupies an area of about 6000 square meters divided into three floors. The building, now restored to its former glory thanks to restoration work, is primarily a permanent center for contemporary art with media library, exhibition space, consulting, services and tools for the study of the works and artists who express themselves through photography, painting, sculpture, video art, design and everything that can act as a medium between the artist and the outside.

The cultural activities (exhibitions and group exhibitions, festivals, workshops, events, projects and experiments) confirm Naples as the core of knowledge and comparison between international experiences and testimonies of this marriage are collected and stored in the documentation center of the pan.
